Licenses MIPS32® Synthesizable Processor to Mavrix Technology

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — March 31, 2009 — MIPS Technologies, Inc. (NasdaqGS: MIPS), a leading provider of industry-standard architectures, processors and analog IP for digital consumer, home networking, wireless, communications and business applications, today announced that Mavrix Technology, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company developing complete SoC solutions for the emerging Mobile Digital TV (MDTV) and portable multimedia market, licensed its MIPS32® 4KEc® synthesizable processor core for next-generation media processor designs.
