Lowell, Mass., March 25, 2009 – Dassault Systèmes (DS) (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that it is accepting presentations for the Dassault Systèmes Customer Conference 2009 (DSCC) which is scheduled for October 6-7, 2009 at the Renaissance Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida. The event will provide North American attendees with expanded access to the key executives and customer success stories from all of its PLM brands including ENOVIA, DELMIA, CATIA, 3DVIA and SIMULIA.
Attendees will learn how DS customers and partners are successfully transforming new product innovation at companies of every size and in a variety of vertical markets, including A&D, automotive, consumer goods (including consumer packaged goods and retail, footwear & apparel), energy, high tech, industrial equipment and life sciences. In addition, Bernard Charlès, CEO, Dassault Systèmes, and members of his executive team will outline the DS vision and discuss how customers can overcome this difficult economic climate to emerge with advantage.
As part of the two-day event, DS is seeking customers willing to share how PLM enables them to address key business issues, including those created by the current economic climate, and drive measurable results. To participate in the event, interested customers should submit a presentation for review by:
1. Obtaining approval from their organization before submitting a proposal;
2. Completing the DSCC Presentation Submission Forum. All submissions must be completed by Friday, April 17, 2009. DS will not accept proposals after the deadline; and
3. Ensuring that final presentations are 45 minutes in length, including 10 minutes for questions and answers. There is a maximum of two speakers per presentation, unless approved by DS in advance. Partner presentations must include a customer presenter.
“Given the many business challenges we’re collectively facing, the DSCC provides a great venue for our customers to engage in an open dialogue with us and to demonstrate how PLM is a cornerstone technology for their long term success,” said Tom Emmrich, president, Americas, Dassault Systèmes. “This year’s DSCC is the continuation of the format our ENOVIA customers have previously found so successful. We believe it is a great venue to talk about our vision and strategy and learn from our customers’ success stories.”
