Camarillo, Calif. — Feb. 13, 2009 — DP Technology, a leader in the industry of computer-aided machining (CAM), will exhibit the latest version of its software, ESPRIT® 2009, at Intec 2009, Industrial Trade Fair Coimbatore, slated to take place in Leipzig, Germany, Feb. 24-27.
Now in its 12th year, Intec is an annual trade show for manufacturing, tool and special-purpose machine construction. With seminars and conferences, in addition to over 500 exhibitors and 200 product categories, the technological showcase combines educational and networking opportunities with the latest in industrial innovation.
Visitors to the ESPRIT exhibit, in Hall 1, booth No.C01 / D02 will have access to personal demonstrations of features available within the newest generation of the product, as well as discussion with knowledgeable DP Technology staff members.
Twenty-two new 5-axis machining strategies have been added to the existing 5-axis functionalities of both ESPRIT SolidMill and SolidMillTurn FreeForm®. These new simultaneous 5-axis machining cycles are available for both milling and mill-turn machines, translating to even greater machining flexibility and improved cycle times. The full performance of these machining cycles is realized when they are run on multi-core computers, which results in an up to 145 percent performance increase for each core added (1 to 2, 2 to 4, etc.).
These upgrades and more, on display at Intec 2009 and available within ESPRIT 2009, reduce the time required to produce part programs while increasing the quality of those programs and helping to reduce machining cycle times.
