MADISON, WI – February 16, 2009 – GeoAnalytics® Inc., an IT consulting firm that specializes in the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise class, spatially enabled information systems, today announced that Dave Mockert and Aaron Stephenson will both present at the WLIA Conference in Wisconsin Dells, WI on February 19 and 20.
On the 19th, Mockert’s presentation, “Oh Crap, What Do I Do with this ArcIMS Investment? Utilizing Existing Infrastructure and Customization for Staged Migration Off of Old Technology,” will focus on the process of transition to the OnPoint Web Mapping solution that interfaces with data from ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server, WMS, Map Point, Pictometry, and ODBC data sources.
On the 20th, Stephenson’s first presentation, “Understanding Mashups & Web API’s: What They are and Their Usefulness to You” will focus on the history of mashups and the web APIs that are sometimes used to make them, along with their usefulness, and how you can make use of them through live demonstration.
His second presentation, “Exploring ArcGIS Server API’s: Beyond the Web ADF” will focus on ESRI’s newest APIs including the ArcGIS API for JavaScript and its extensions for Google Maps and Virtual Earth, the ArcGIS API for Flex, and the ArcGIS REST API while comparing the relative merits of each and best use.
