ESPRIT 2009 and Mold v10 by DP Technology to be exhibited at Seatec 2009 Carrara, Italy, Feb. 5-7

Camarillo, Calif. — Feb. 3, 2009 — DP Technology’s ESPRIT® 2009 and ESPRIT Mold Version 10 computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software will be exhibited at Seatec 2009, scheduled to take place Feb. 5-7 in Carrara, Italy.

The 7th installation of Seatec — the only manufacturing industry event in Italy devoted exclusively to boat and shipyard suppliers — is an international exhibition of technology, subcontracting and design for boats, mega-yachts and ships. Exhibiting companies are involved in the production of components, equipment, mechanical parts, raw materials, third-party work, design and services for the marine industry.

Visitors to the ESPRIT exhibit will be given one-on-one demonstrations and presentations of the new features available within the latest generation of the product, including a significant number of new, innovative technologies in the areas of 3-and5-axis milling, B-axis turning for 5-axis mill-turn machines, and more.

In addition to increasing the performance of the CAM software, the upgrades on display at Seatec 2009 and available within ESPRIT reduce the time required to produce part programs while increasing the quality of those programs and helping to reduce machining cycle times.

Seatec 2009 also marks the first formal public collaboration between the Italian branches of DP Technology and Autodesk, which have agreed to collaborate on efforts to market their respective products. ESPRIT reads native Autodesk Inventor files, ensuring the seamless translation from CAD to CAM of any project designed within this 3D parametric design application.
