The submitting firms were evaluated on their growth over the past three years. Firms had to be in business as of January 1, 2004 and had to have gross revenues of at least one million dollars in 2004. To ensure fairness across all firm sizes, firm’s dollar growth and percentage growth were weighted equally. Each firm was assigned a dollar ranking and percentage ranking, these were then combined for a total score.
