Heerlen, the Netherlands – November 5, 2008 – The Cadac Group, a leading Microsoft Gold Certified Partner developing Organice, a Microsoft SharePoint based engineering document management solution, announces the support of Autodesk Revit 2009.
Autodesk Revit 2009 was introduced by Autodesk in March 2008. Organice supports Autodesk Revit 2009 in Organice 2007 R4 that was released in November 2008. With Organice, Autodesk Revit 2009 users can save and store Revit Project files (RVT) into Microsoft SharePoint and open and edit these files from SharePoint. In addition they can insert Revit Family files (RFA) that are stored in SharePoint into Revit Project files (RVT). Both the Revit Project files and the Revit Family files are stored and managed in Organice including the relationship between them.
Organice 2007 R4 including Autodesk Revit 2009 support is available to customers from November 2008.
