New York and London October xx, 2008
Professor David Gosman, executive vice president and co-founder of CD-adapco and fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, is to give a lecture during ERCOFTAC’s Autumn festival at the Belgian Royal Academy. Held in Brussels between the 18th-19th of November, Professor Gosman will discuss how innovations in computational continuum mechanics are driving virtual design and analysis.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the European Research Community on Flow, Turbulence and Combustion (ERCOFTAC). The 2008 ERCOFTAC Autumn Festival is celebrating this landmark anniversary by organising a special two-day programme, together with a gala dinner. The programme comprises a set of keynote talks, given by leading figures from both academia and industry, which together review the recent past and speculate on possible futures across a number of themes chosen for their contemporary significance.
