Adapx Hires Industry Veteran to Drive Sales and Business Development Growth for Capturx(TM) Software for Digital Pens

SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Aug 13, 2008 -- Adapx ( www.adapx.com), the company that is changing the way teams collaborate and collect data in the field, today announced the appointment of Andrew Lee as senior vice president of sales. Lee will drive the worldwide sales and business development growth of the Capturx™ award-winning software that digitally enables paper-based maps, design, notes, and forms for use with digital pens.

"With demonstrated success in sales and solution building for customers across a broad range of industries, we are extremely fortunate to acquire one of the leading sales executives in the industry," said Ken Schneider, CEO and president of Adapx. "I'm confident in Andy's ability to strategically steer our sales organization as the demand for the Capturx product line continues to rise in the enterprise and government sectors."

Lee's new role at Adapx follows 15 years of successful sales leadership, breakthrough revenue growth and profitability turnarounds for privately held startups as well as publicly-traded companies. Recognized as a key force behind the explosive growth of Zonar Systems, Lee's sales leadership resulted in a doubling of revenues and a substantial increase in enterprise value in less than 2 years. Prior to Zonar, Lee built a worldwide sales team for Microvision (NASDAQ: MVIS) that generated revenue from zero to $20M in less than 5 years. In two years at AEI Music Network, Lee doubled revenues in a mature division. Prior to AEI, he led business development activities for ADB Industries. Lee received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

"Only Capturx provides customers with a simple data collection system that allows handwritten notes and markups on paper maps, building plans, and forms to be integrated into Microsoft, Autodesk, and ESRI software," said Lee. "I'm passionate about this unique opportunity because Capturx delivers immediate ROI to enterprises and government agencies seeking a reliable and easy-to-use field data management solution."
