Lexington, Kentucky USA, April 17, 2008 – VisMasters Design Modeling & Visualization Conference announces attendees may earn continuing education AIA credits through session attendance. Good to Great – Rendering BIM Projects in 3ds Max Design presented by Scott D. Davis offers continuing education AIA credit and is designed for Revit Architecture users who want to take their rendering skills to the next level using advanced visualization techniques. This session will cover the process for producing high-quality still images from your building information modeling (BIM) and project files for an effective design visualization workflow between the two applications: Revit Architecture and 3ds Max Design.
Scott D. Davis is an AEC Technical Specialist with Autodesk, Inc., and is an expert in the use of Autodesk Revit Architecture. After joining Autodesk in March of 2007, he has promoted BIM around the country at events including the AIA Convention in San Antonio, Texas and Green Build 2007 in Chicago Illinois. He has taught classes on the subject of BIM and the use of Autodesk Revit at Autodesk University, and was the founder of the Revit Users Group Inland Empire. Prior to joining Autodesk, Scott was a Project Manager and the Technology Coordinator at WLC Architects, Inc, in Rancho Cucamonga, California for 8 years. At WLC, Scott was responsible for bringing BIM to the firm, first discovering Revit in the spring of 2000. He was responsible for the firm-wide implementation of Revit for over 100 users across 3 offices. Scott's BIM portfolio includes the Child Development Center at Long Beach City College and the Silverado Ninth Grade Campus for Victor Valley Union High School District
