October 1, 2007 – Beaverton, Oregon – Axium, a leader in financial and project management solutions for architectural and engineering firms, announced the addition of three new features for their Protrax product. The Protrax 7.3 update introduces features such as an advanced Principals Report, updated iTime capabilities and a new help format.

The highlight feature for the Protrax 7.3 update is the new Principals Report. The Principals Report is accessible directly from the Protrax dashboard, providing principals increased visibility into their firm’s project and financial status. This report quickly displays the current position of the firm’s cash, receivables, payables, and WIP all in a customizable format.

Axium has also updated the iTime feature in Protrax to allow for greater ease when making time entry corrections. Users now have the ability to reaccept time from iTime into Payroll if errors occur during the Accept iTime procedure, an incorrect period-end date was entered, or to correct time entered.

With the new customizable Principals Report and adjustable iTime feature users will have more flexibility and quicker access to information then ever before,” said Ilene Ingram, Axium’s VP Research and Development.

Also included in the Protrax 7.3 update is simplified access to help setup. Axium has recognized recent changes with the way Microsoft is handling help files, so Protrax help files are now accessed locally on the workstation instead of on the network.
