Arvada, Colorado, March 13, 2007 – Pixxures, Inc., a leading provider of aerial mapping and GIS services has been contracted by Forest Capital Partners, LLC to provide services to convert and re-project National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) imagery.
Forest Capital Partners is an independent investment firm that acquires and manages large-scale, investment-grade forests across North America. They provided Pixxures with over 5,000 square miles of NAIP imagery in northeastern Washington State. “Our client uses ESRI software, primarily ArcGIS and SDE (SQL server) version 9.2. In order to efficiently use the NAIP imagery in SDE, they needed to have the imagery converted to TIFF format and tiled by township and range for their service area,” said Ray Postolovski, Business Development Manager at Pixxures, Inc. “The enhanced imagery will support on-going projects for Forest Capital Partners.”
"We are extremely pleased with the quality of work that Pixxures, Inc. produced for us. Their turn-around time, from initial contact to project completion, was very quick, allowing us to incorporate the data into our on-going, day-to-day business in a matter of days. Pixxures, Inc. employees with whom I dealt demonstrated nothing but professionalism and the desire to meet our needs," said Annje Esvelt, GIS Analyst at Forest Capital Partners, LLC.
