Agreement for Ignition(TM) Platform Extends Product's Market Reach and Delivers Solution and Support to Japanese Companies Looking to Secure and Manage Network Access
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. & YOKOHAMA, Japan—(BUSINESS WIRE)—June 1, 2006— Identity Engines, Inc., a leading provider of network-based identity management solutions, and Zuken NetWave Inc., a Yokohama, Japan-based distributor of network security products, today announced an agreement to create a channel partnership for Zuken NetWave to distribute Identity Engines Ignition(TM) platform. Under terms of the agreement, effective immediately, Zuken NetWave will market, sell and support Ignition throughout Japan.In Japan and around the world, IT departments are being required to find solutions to support a growing number of mobile and remote users while needing to ensure consistent and secure access across all network entry points. This need is fueling the network identity management market which is expected to exceed $1B by 2010, according to recent research by the Enterprise Strategy Group. Through its highly-reliable, centrally-managed and secure Ignition platform, Identity Engines allows enterprises to implement identity- and policy-driven security in an increasingly complex landscape.
