The June seminars continue a nationwide series developed by ENOVIA MatrixOne that began in December 2005 to help companies focus on the issues surrounding environmental compliance in the technology/electronics industry and develop an action plan for compliance. One of the major catalysts for environmental compliance is the European Union's new Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) environmental regulation which will take effect on July 1, 2006.
Mike Zepp, Principal Industry Consultant, Materials Compliance Solutions, Dolores Cooper, Director of Product Management and Rob Webb, Senior Solutions Consultant at ENOVIA MatrixOne, will review recent environmental compliance implementations and discuss best practices that can be applied to attendees' specific product development activities. In addition, along with Marc Church, Program Director, Tetra Tech, Inc. and Kris Erickson, Senior Projects Manager, EMT, these speakers will review what the business ramifications are of non-compliance, how companies can determine what substances are in their products and discuss what tools are available to help companies integrate compliance into their new product development and production processes resulting in shorter time to market and lower costs.
