The eight winning Primavera customers were:
-- Cannon Design (Buffalo, NY) received the Bronze Vision Award for the A/E/C category.
-- Delcor Homes (Milford, MI) accepted the Bronze Vision Award for the Single Family less than $100 million category.
-- Gafcon, Inc. (San Diego, CA) was honored with the Gold Vision Award and Silver Vision Award for the Construction Management category.
-- Las Vegas Valley Water District (Las Vegas, NV) was one of two awarded the Gold Vision Award for the Government category.
-- Los Angeles Unified School District (Los Angeles, CA) was given the Silver Vision Award for the Education category.
-- MCM Corporation (Miami, FL) was presented the Gold Vision Award for the Heavy/Highway category.
-- Skanska USA Building (Parsippany, NJ) was the winner of the Team Award, given to the best project team with the most innovative use of technology.
-- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Washington, DC) was also honored with the Gold Vision Award for the Government category.
The Army Corps of Engineers won the Gold Vision Award in the Government category for creating virtual project teams who work with others across a multitude of projects in 90 countries. "We are very grateful to have received this honor for our hard work and dedication to becoming the most efficient government agency," commented Mark Gmitro from the United States Army Corps of Engineers. "The Army Corps has seen a tremendous improvement in the way the entire organization works together to complete our projects. Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD) was also honored with the Gold Vision Award in the Government category for building an integrated project management system based on Primavera to manage $2 billion in capital improvement projects. Gopal Veeramachaneni, senior civil engineer with the Knowledge and Technology Management Division of LVVWD's engineering group stated, "We are pleased to be recognized as a leader in the government project management space. Since the District began using the new scheduling platform to collaborate on projects, our timeline and budget targets have become predictable and consistent."
Primavera received eight Constructech Technology Enabler Awards (the most awards given to a project management software company) for providing support and software to the winning organizations. Primavera was also recently honored with Constructech's "Technology's Hottest" designation for its solid revenue growth, overall product excellence and focus on helping customers develop more efficient business operations.
