June 26, 2024, Limassol, Cyprus - SprutCAM X World Conference 2024 brought together the SprutCAM Tech development team and partner companies for the second time.

From June 10th to 13th in Limassol, Cyprus, SprutCAM Tech welcomed guests from partner companies in Europe, Asia, North and South America. Over the course of four days, 75 participants, accompanied by their families, engaged in productive working sessions and enjoyed their time.  The five-star luxury St. Raphael Resort and Marina served as the venue for the conference.

This year's conference theme was “ The Magic of CAM.” Indeed, what took place at the conference not only resembled magic but was often, in fact, real magic. The conference began with guests being greeted by hosts in costume as famous fantasy heroes.

At the general session of the conference, the SprutCAM Tech team showcased the numerous enhancements to their existing software products and unveiled several entirely new solutions. These new products are scheduled for market release as early as next fall.

During the conference, representatives from partner companies in Germany, Turkey, Brazil, Italy, Belgium, and Finland took the stage to share their secrets of successful business with SprutCAM X and SprutCAM X Robot, such as:

• The best features of SprutCAM X that drive sales.
• Building  a business in robotic additive manufacturing.
• How a SprutCAM X dealer doubled his sales.
• Lessons learned in building a Sub-Dealer Network.
• Technology bundle based on SprutCAM X.
• How to generate leads in a complex B2B industry using AI and automation, and more.

Aviomania Aircraft, a SprutCAM X customer, is the only Cypriot company that designs, develops, manufactures, and maintains microlight and light aircraft, specializing in aircraft with a maximum take-off weight below 560 kg. Nicolas Karaolides, founder of Aviomania Aircraft, said: “SprutCAM X is powerful, easy to use, and versatile; it can program all my machines, even those I made myself. The simulation is phenomenal! Any mistake on a parameter I make during programming I can easily see during the simulation. I have never had any failures with machining since I started using SprutCAM 14, and now I am using Version 17. I have tried other CAM software, and I can honestly say that SprutCAM X is my favorite. It covers all my current needs and will also cover any future needs.”

In addition, guest speaker Dinos Costantinou, a well-known magician, gave a talk on the Nature and History of Magic. “Modern magic has evolved significantly with the advent of technology, transforming traditional tricks and performances into high-tech spectacles. In summary, technology has greatly expanded the possibilities for magicians, allowing them to create more intricate, interactive, and visually stunning performances,” he said.

One of the highlights of the conference was the award ceremony for the best in the SprutCAM Tech partner network in 2023. The awards were given in different categories:

• In the SprutCAM X Leader category, SinteSi S.r.l, Italy, won with the highest annual sales.
• NC Robotics Ltd, UK, and ONESPRUT Manufacturing Solutions, LLC, USA, received the SprutCAM X Challenger awards for achieving the highest sales in their first year of dealership.
• CAD/CAM Systeme Datentechnik Reitz GmbH & Co. from Germany was recognized as the SprutCAM X Motivator for having the highest customer retention.
• The SprutCAM X Accelerator award went to CADCAMCNC, Greece, for being the fastest-growing reseller.
• COMAC INDUSTRIA E COMERCIO DE AUTOMOCAO E ROBOTICA LTDA, Brazil, was named the SprutCAM X Brand Ambassador for outstanding achievements in marketing and promotion of the SprutCAM X brand.
• The SprutCAM X Innovator award for the best technology project related to 8-axis welding & cutting was presented to Sprut Software Technology (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. from China.
• Finally, MecDATA Scp., Spain, and INNOCOL V.O.F. DBA: CADCAMSTORE, Netherlands, received the SprutCAM X Expert awards for balanced sales of all SprutCAM Tech software products.

The second day of the conference focused on relevant business issues and the vendor's interaction with resellers. Partners gained insight into SprutCAM Tech's marketing strategy and tools the company uses for its implementation, changes in sales policies in different countries, the licensing system development plans, and creating a new SprutCAM X API. The goal was to make the company's internal processes more understandable and transparent for partners.

The second day ended with group work among the conference participants. The leaders of each group gave short presentations on the assigned business tasks, followed by a panel discussion between SprutCAM Tech executives and all other participants on the topic "Let's shape the future of SprutCAM X together."

All open questions and unresolved issues were discussed with the vendor in one-on-one meetings the next day. More than 20 meetings and discussions were held in this format. A visit to the SprutCAM Tech R&D Center in Paphos and the Foot Golf Cup competition concluded the conference.

At the end of the conference, participants expressed their satisfaction with the valuable information provided in the business program as well as the enjoyable entertainment and sports activities. One of the most memorable events was a yacht trip along the island's coastline, where participants had the opportunity to swim in the open sea and enjoy dinner on board against the backdrop of a sunset.
