DVCon Europe Continues to Grow

First in-person event for three years shows further climb in registrations

Munich, Germany – 19th December 2022 - The Design and Verification Conference & Exhibition Europe (DVCon Europe), held annually and sponsored by Accellera Systems Initiative, has announced that attendance of the 2022 event has again shown strong growth.  The event was held in Munich on 6th and 7th December and was followed by SystemC Evolution Day on the 8th.

This year’s registrations were even higher than for the last in-person show in 2019 and delegates attended from 115 different companies (111 in 2019), representing 36 countries (32 in 2019).  Highlights from the program included well-attended tutorials on standard development and best practices in functional safety, IP-XACT and UVM.

DVCon Europe went online very successfully for two years, providing networking opportunities using virtual reality.  Attendees were, however, glad to have the chance to meet in-person this year, as Sumit Jha, General Chair, explained, “Meeting in-person after a gap of three years was exciting and this was a lively show with enthusiastic networking”.

The award for Best Paper went to a team from Samsung, India, for a paper entitled ‘A Generic Configurable Error Injection Agent for On-Chip Memories’.

DVCon Europe will mark its 10th anniversary next year and will be held in Munich on 14th and 15th November 2023, followed by the SystemC Evolution Day on 16th .
