SiPearl, the European company designing the high-performance low-power microprocessor for exascale* supercomputing, announces the appointment of Sébastien Kamphuis as Chief Information Officer. Previously with Engie, Capgemini and Bouygues Telecom, Sébastien joined SiPearl to lead its IT organization and support its accelerated growth strategy through the delivery of innovative technology infrastructure, systems, tools and compute farm.
Sébastien Kamphuis (39, Infosup Paris) has been appointed Chief Information Officer of SiPearl, the company designing the high-performance low-power microprocessor for European exascale supercomputers.
Sébastien started with the IT services company ICS as System & network administrator in 2006. After three years as IT manager for the distribution chain of the furniture group Cauval Industries (headquarters, warehouses, 35 stores), he joined the IT services company Genious Systèmes to manage datacenter infrastructure projects for its customer Bouygues Telecom. In 2012, Sébastien integrated Sogeti, the IT services branch of Capgemini, still to work on behalf of Bouygues Telecom, then of Engie as Service Delivery Manager. In 2019, he was hired by Engie in the same position to be in charge of several business units. Throughout his 15-years career, Sébastien has developed a deep experience in IT infrastructure service.
On October 3rd, Sébastien joined SiPearl, to lead the entire IT organization of the company located in France, Germany and Spain. His mission is to support SiPearl’s accelerated growth strategy through the delivery of innovative technologies: infrastructure, systems, tools and compute farm. In his new role, Sébastien will be specially responsible for managing SiPearl’s datacenters, telecom infrastructure and R&D centers network.
Reporting directly to Philippe Notton, CEO and founder of SiPearl, Sébastien Kamphuis joined as a member of the Management Committee.
