Global Scanning Americas Beats Q1 Sales Expectations

Diverse scanning solutions for a wide range of applications meet growing demand; Sales surge for home office and high-volume productivity centers

Chantilly, VA  — May 26, 2021 — Global Scanning Americas, a regional division of Global Scanning A/S, today announces success in Q1 2021 for its family of scanning solutions across three divisions. These include scanning solutions from Contex, Colortrac, and Scan Dimension, covering entry-level to high-volume large format scanners as well as 3D desktop scanners. Global Scanning Americas attributes its success to its strong distributor and reseller channel and a well-rounded product line.

“We are seeing signs that things are getting back to normal in the scanning community,” comments Steve Blanken, General Manager, Global Scanning Americas. “With the range of scanners that we offer, there’s a solution for every requirement, which helps new and existing customers get back to business with their varied scanning projects.”

In the large format scanning sector, Global Scanning Americas saw a surge in sales for entry-level and high-volume scanning solutions. Applications for the Contex and Colortrac product lines include CAD and engineering, maps and GIS. Contex scanners are also used for artwork, photos, books, textiles, and other materials. The Contex scanners can capture documents up to 60-inches wide and unlimited lengths, and the value-driven Colortrac large format scanners can capture documents up to 44-inches wide. In the 3D market, Scan Dimension’s SOL 3D scanner is the most user-friendly and cost-effective in its space, ideal for both hobbyists and professionals.

Contex, Colortrac, and Scan Dimension scanners are available through distributors in Canada, the United States, and South America.
