DCW Connect fringe series is back for 2021

The team behind Digital Construction Week – the UK’s leading exhibition for innovation and technology in the built environment – have announced that the popular DCW Connect fringe series is returning this spring, with a five-week campaign of online activity beginning next month.

Portfolio director Ollie Hughes says: “With Digital Construction Week moving to November, we didn’t want to let the original May dates of the live event pass without marking them. So, starting 3 May, we’re bringing our audience a selection of carefully curated virtual content to help them stay up to date with the latest from the industry as we get back to building.”

Digital Construction Week are partnering with the Construction Innovation Hub, Centre for Digital Built Britain and UK BIM Alliance on a series of webinars, taking place each week from 3 May. Every webinar will cover a different theme, including digitalisation and behavioural change, sustainability, international BIM, digital twins and much more.

The virtual event will also feature a schedule of exclusive content from Digital Construction Week’s exhibitors and supporters, including 3D Repo, 4PS, Bluebeam, Enscape, Kubla Software, NBS, Procore, Revizto and This is Change, to name a few.

The DCW Connect fringe series programme is available now and can be accessed here. More sessions will be announced in the coming weeks.

This latest event follows the huge success of the first DCW Connect fringe series last autumn. It attracted more than 3,500 attendees for a programme of webinars, panel discussions and exclusive product demos from Asite, Autodesk, Bentley, Deltek, Ed Controls, Emesent, Topcon, Wood and more.

Call for speakers

Following the five-week programme, the team will be looking forward to the November live event with the launch of the call for speakers for Digital Construction Week 2021. They’ll be hunting for speakers to join the line-up of experts and thought leaders presenting at the show (which takes place on 24-25 November at ExCeL London).

Those who are interested in applying can register their interest in speaking now and the team will be in touch when the call for speakers launches.
