QuantalRF Separately Announces Samples of First Quantal Chip

SAN DIEGO, April 16, 2020 — (PRNewswire) — QuantalRF, an innovator in breakthrough wireless RF technology, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Ali Fard to lead the company as their new Chief Executive Officer.  Dr. Fard will replace Mike Wrape who has served as interim CEO for the past 7 months. In addition to becoming QuantalRF's new CEO, Dr. Fard will also remain as CTO where he will continue to drive development of the company's technical strategy.

QuantalRF First Silicon

Today the company also announced that they have received samples of the first Quantal RFIC.  The chip is fabricated in TSMC's 65nm CMOS process and represents a significant milestone for the company's Quantal technology, enabling silicon level validation of QuantalRF's innovative front-end circuitry.  The technology is applicable to RF Front Ends (RFFEs) for all wireless radio standards.
