DAC committee’s charter to focus on enhancing and expanding the exhibitor and attendee experience
SAN FRANCISCO — (BUSINESS WIRE) — December 4, 2019 — Design Automation Conference (DAC), the premier event dedicated to electronic design and design automation of electronic systems, has named the members of the 57th DAC Industry Liaison Committee (ILC). These volunteers serve as intermediaries to ensure the EDA industry and DAC exhibitors have a vehicle to influence all areas of DAC including operations, program, promotions and exhibits. The ILC is made up of a balanced cross-section of industry representatives. The delegates serve as liaisons to their various constituencies at DAC by proactively communicating and soliciting input to help drive a DAC event that benefits all exhibitors. The ILC works closely with the DAC Executive Committee to ensure a positive and successful experience for both the exhibitors and attendees.
The 57th DAC will be held at Moscone West Center in San Francisco, CA from July 19 - 23, 2020. DAC will co-locate with SemiCon West 2020, which is being held at the Moscone Center, North and South Halls, July 21 – 23, 2020.
“DAC has added several successful initiatives over the past two years, which has helped to grow the exhibits and enhance the attendee experience,” said Rob van Blommestein, Industry Liaison Committee Co-Chair. “The success of the DAC exhibits year after year has been largely due to the work of the Industry Liaison Committee. This year’s team of creative and talented industry professionals will continue the path of success to make DAC in 2020 one of the best.”

About DAC
The Design Automation Conference (DAC) is recognized as the premier event for the design of electronic circuits and systems, and for electronic design automation (EDA) and silicon solutions. A diverse worldwide community representing more than 1,000 organizations attends each year, represented by system designers and architects, logic and circuit designers, validation engineers, CAD managers, senior managers and executives to researchers and academicians from leading universities. Close to 60 technical sessions selected by a committee of electronic design experts offer information on recent developments and trends, management practices and new products, methodologies and technologies. A highlight of DAC is its exhibition and suite area with approximately 175 of the leading and emerging EDA, silicon, intellectual property (IP) and design services providers. The conference is sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on Design Automation (ACM SIGDA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineer’s Council on Electronic Design Automation (IEEE CEDA).
