May 28, 2019 -- Chicago, IL -- The National Frame Building Association ( NFBA) is building a brand big enough to accommodate their ambitiously large vision for industry growth.
NFBA's re-branding came out of extensive research, both quantitative and qualitative, targeting three major audiences within the industry. The first group are NFBA members, who consist of post-frame builders, suppliers, manufacturers, building material dealers, code and design professionals, and structural engineers. The second are post-frame architects and designers. And the third are owners of post-frame buildings in residential and other sectors.
"We're getting very particular in how we communicate with and meet the needs of each of these diverse audiences," says NFBA President Jeff Henry. "While the benefits to each are unique, integrating them all into the NFBA brand will provide the foundation for many years of industry growth."
Post-frame construction is an engineered wood-frame building system that meets UBC and IBC standards. Post-frame buildings feature large, solid sawn posts or laminated columns instead of wood studs, steel framing, or concrete masonry. They transfer loads to the ground or surface-mounted to a concrete pier or masonry foundation and may use plastic barrier systems for enhanced protection of wood and concrete posts or piers.
From logo to website ( www.nfba.org), NFBA's new branding expresses post-frame's "expansive possibilities," which embrace everything from cideries to hobby shops to homes with interior spaces for speed boats. The new site caters to every target group in every sector, from residential to commercial. Visitors can quickly find the technical resources, event updates, and providers they need.
"We've rebuilt NFBA.org as a practical and valuable tool," says Henry, "whether you're looking to build your business, design multi-use homes, or live the rural American dream."
