Description: Push-pull RF PAs are generally composed of two transformer-coupled, single-ended amplifiers operating in anti-phase. To reduce PA size, an asymmetric totem-pole amplifier is investigated that consists of two N-channel FETs stacked one on top of each other, with the output taken from their common node.
