OTTAWA, Oct. 30, 2018 — (PRNewswire) — Arvizio Inc., today announced the availability of a Revit Plugin for their MR Studio™ mixed reality software platform. The MR Studio Revit plugin provides an information-rich transfer of models between Revit and MR Studio Director while preserving geometry, textures and associated metadata for a compelling mixed reality sharing experience.
The efficient transfer of data allows rapid design iterations to be viewed by individual, or groups of, architects, engineers, customers and other stakeholders. MR Studio Director allows Revit models and LiDAR scans to be flexibly aligned and the combined results shared between local participants using Microsoft HoloLens. In addition, the platform enables virtual design reviews across distance allowing participants at multiple locations to conduct mixed reality meetings including 3D model sharing, model markup and design document sharing.
