TROY, Mich., Jun. 18, 2018 — (PRNewswire) —

TROY, Mich., Jun. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- FACTON today announced that Michael Betz, COO North America, will be presenting and demonstrating at PTC's annual LiveWorx conference on June 19, 2018. The focus of the presentation will be the integration between PTC's Windchill® Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform and FACTON's Enterprise Product Costing (EPC) solution; data can be shared between the two platforms using the FACTON EPC Navigate™ App based on the ThingWorx® platform.

The FACTON EPC Navigate App allows design engineers working with Windchill to seamlessly collaborate with costing engineers working in FACTON EPC by exchanging data from Windchill to FACTON EPC and aggregate highly accurate cost estimates form FACTON EPC with Windchill product data. This will streamline operations and speed time to awarding new contracts. Betz remarked, "The integration of these platforms adds enormous value both for suppliers trying to win new business and for buyers using a "should costing" process." Additionally, using Navigate to show aggregated PDM and costing data is an important benefit, especially for large manufacturers who struggle with data spread in siloes.

Betz is presenting as part of session s710 on Tuesday, June 19 at 4:15. The session is titled, "How To Go From Red To Green In Digital Transformation Projects: A ThingWorx Navigate Roadmap."

LiveWorx is a global technology conference and marketplace for solutions engineered for a smart, connected world, designed to bring together PTC's current users alongside industry influencers and innovators.
