Based on the high-performance x86 "Zen" architecture, these two new AMD product portfolios represent a new age of embedded processors, providing superior performance and a suite of on-chip security features.Mentor provides "out-of-the-box" embedded Linux support for hardware-accelerated applications, enabling the development of high-performance machine vision and machine learning applications with exceptional integration. This is achieved by enabling OpenCV vision libraries and TensorFlow™ libraries, with security enabled throughout the device. The commercial version of MEL provides support for advanced graphics, multimedia and video applications, including popular packaging and development tools for creating gaming applications, such as Pachinko gaming systems. The MEL platform includes updated software development tools: GNU compiler collection (GCC), GNU project debugger (GBD), and Yocto™ Project 4.9 Long-Term Support (LTS) Linux kernel.
