Now in its 20th year, SOLIDWORKS World brings together a mix of over 5000 users, resellers, employees, solution providers, entrepreneurs, educators and students. The event takes place 4th – 7th February 2018 in Los Angeles, California and several members of the DriveWorks team are attending for the 17th consecutive year.

Celebrating 10 Years of DriveWorksXpress Inside SOLIDWORKS
Since 2008, DriveWorksXpress has been selected by SOLIDWORKS to be included in every licence of their 3D CAD package. DriveWorksXpress allows every user to save time by creating multiple variations of their SOLIDWORKS parts, assemblies and drawings quickly and accurately.
To mark the 10-year anniversary of this partnership, DriveWorks recently updated the user interface of their Xpress product to coincide with the release of SOLIDWORKS 2018. SOLIDWORKS World attendees can learn about how to create a DriveWorksXpress configurator by joining Tom Wormald, DriveWorks’ Technical Specialist, in a hands-on breakout session on Wednesday 7th February at 10:30am.
Industry professionals and students with access to either an educational or commercial licence of SOLIDWORKS are also encouraged to complete the free DriveWorksXpress Training and Certification. Becoming a Certified DriveWorksXpress Associate will help you to improve your SOLIDWORKS skills, work smarter and make your engineering resume stand out from the crowd.

Meet the DriveWorks Team
The company’s CEO, Glen Smith, and Vice President, Maria Sarkar, along with several other members of the DriveWorks team will be available on booth #511 in the Partner Pavilion. They’ll be showcasing the latest version of their software, DriveWorks 16, answering questions and networking with members of the SOLIDWORKS community.
DriveWorks are also hosting a number of Design Automation and CPQ presentation during the event. Their first presentation, hosted by Technical Territory Manager, John Bannon, kicks off in the Partner Pavilion at 2:30pm on Sunday 4th February. Glen Smith will also be speaking to MCAD Café, the world’s number one Mechanical Computer Aided Design (MCAD) web portal, about DriveWorks CPQ for manufacturing.
