New BOXX Sales VP Signals Business Expansion and Continued Revenue Growth

Vice President of Sales Lorne Wilson Brings a Wealth of Experience to Computer Hardware Manufacturer’s Rapidly Growing National and Global Accounts

AUSTIN, TEXAS, Dec. 20, 2017—BOXX Technologies, the leading innovator of high-performance computer workstations, rendering systems, and servers, today announced the appointment of Lorne Wilson as Vice President of Sales. As BOXX expands into the deep learning marketplace, Wilson is responsible for all direct and indirect global sales functions and is entrusted to grow strategic customer accounts and partner relationships which tactically meld with core BOXX business goals.

“As we near the close of a record-setting profit year highlighted by our acquisition of Cirrascale and subsequent expansion into the deep learning market, it’s imperative that our sales team be guided by an experienced, innovative leader,” said BOXX CEO Rick Krause. “We are excited about Lorne’s direct and indirect sales plans and believe that he is the professional capable of driving our sales success to even greater heights.”

By acquiring Cirrascale Corporation, a premier developer of multi-GPU servers and cloud solutions designed for deep learning infrastructure, BOXX solidified its position as the leader in multi-GPU computer technology. The addition of deep learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to its line of multi-GPU solutions for VFX, animation, motion media, architecture, engineering, and other 3D design markets, resulted in unprecedented growth requiring a new level of world-class enterprise sales leadership. Upon accepting the position, Wilson moved quickly, launching an initiative to scale BOXX sales infrastructure, including technical and additional sales resources that will play an essential role in future revenue growth.

“It’s a privilege to join BOXX at a time when the server, workstation, and rendering system markets are experiencing tremendous growth in part due to advancements in deep learning and Al applications,” said Wilson. “With a firm commitment to sales presence expansion essential for growth, I am confident of meeting our 2018 sales objectives and taking BOXX to the next level.”

Prior to his new position at BOXX, Wilson’s experience includes executive sales and marketing roles at both startups and large enterprise organizations. Previously, he served as Chief Sales Officer at cyber security provider BluStor. In addition, Wilson spent twelve years with Fujitsu as Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and New Product Development.
