This week flying car start up Terrafugia was acquired by Chinese automotive group Geely. Founded in 2006, the company was one of the first to focus on flying cars and the acquisition now provides the company access to global markets.

Terrafugia are showing their flying car prototype at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Silicon Valley on Nov 15-16, as part of the IDTechEx Show! which covers the hottest emerging technologies.
Terrafugia Cofounder and CTO Dr Carl Dietrich opened the event covering their vision and innovation which is helping to make flying cars a reality, with first product expected to be available in 2019.
