STURBRIDGE, MA – November 15, 2017 -- Mr. Christopher (Chris) Mendicino has established Kairos Manufacturing Solutions in partnership with Adion Systems – the developers of ProShop comprehensive ERP management software – to sell and support ProShop in the New England region. The reseller contract with Adion Systems authorizes Kairos Manufacturing Solutions to resell, install, train and support ProShop, providing local dedicated care to manufacturers in a territory covering Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut
Mr. Mendicino’s entire professional career has consisted of selling, supporting, training and developing manufacturing software technology. Most recently, he was a product manager with MACDAC Engineering, Inc. in Somers, Connecticut. Mr. Mendicino’s experience in CAD, CAM, DNC communications, machine data collection and IT systems served to spark his recognition of a gap in the market for a user-friendly, functional, comprehensive ERP resource in the manufacturing sector. After meeting the founders of Adion Systems, both parties spent several months discussing a reseller agreement to bring dedicated, local support and sales of ProShop to New England.
“Manufacturers who use any sort of machining in their process are typically forced to implement additional software beyond their ERP system to supplement its functionality,” said Mr. Mendicino. “While the manufacturing industry is gearing up for ‘Industry 4.0’ and ‘IIoT’, ERP systems need to evolve as central storehouses and analytics platforms for digesting and presenting data in a valuable, meaningful and straightforward format for users. ProShop is the only platform I’ve seen that is powerfully tackling the entire manufacturing process in that manner, and I wanted to be instrumental in providing this solution to shops large and small in New England.”
More About ProShop
ProShop is a full manufacturing management software including ERP, MES, QMS, and Tool Management. It is 100% web based (hosted either on premise or in the cloud), and 100% paperless. ProShop innately and adeptly handles a wide variety of manufacturing processes outside of typical ERP functionality. Some of these processes include quality management, recursive maintenance management, tool management, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and even internal messaging. Before ProShop, these functions were typically supported by several software packages with poor integration between them. For more information about ProShop, visit www.adionsystems.com.
