Contex, the leader of wide format scanning and imaging solutions, today announces a new promotion for
HP Pagewide XL customers. For a limited time, Contex is offering exceptional pricing to transform HP Pagewide XL printers into multifunction scanner-copier-printers by simply adding a Contex wide format scanner. Pagewide XL customers can choose from either the
IQ Quattro 44-inch MFP or
HD Ultra MFP wide format scanstations. The promotion gives HP Pagewide XL customers up to 40 percent off list price of the Contex scanning solutions, and is in effect through December 31, 2017.
Unlike competitive scanners, these Contex wide format scanner solutions are designed specifically for the Pagewide XL printers. They take full advantage of Pagewide XL productivity printing and copying features. For example, users can scan and print documents in full 48-bit color, with full access to Pagewide XL’s color management capabilities. Additionally, Contex scanners address Pagewide XL’s sorting and collating capabilities for bid-set printing, and can automatically select any of the rolls on the printer to address reduction, enlargement and autosizing. Contex scanners can also be network connected to drive multiple printers.

Ergonomically designed, Contex scanners are well-suited for the Pagewide XL wide format printers. Reprographic houses and enterprise central reprographic departments will be able to use the bundled solution to capture, copy and print the finest detail in originals.
The Contex promotion for the HP Pagewide XL printer includes the wide format scanner and stand, touch-screen monitor, Nextimage REPRO scanning software, and a 2-year onsite warranty.
