CHANTILLY, Va. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 5, 2017 — OGSystems (OGS), a leader in technology innovation for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC), today announced its partnership with British satellite company Earth-i, which will incorporate both video and imagery into the BlueGlass platform.
“The addition of Earth-i and imagery from the DMC3 constellation to the BlueGlass platform immediately gives our clients access to both high resolution and high revisit satellite imagery,” said Omar Balkissoon, CEO and Co-Founder of OGSystems. “We are very excited about their future constellation and bringing intelligent video and imagery from space to our users so they better Understand their World.”
This announcement follows the May 30, 2017 release made by Earth-i announcing the company’s plans to launch and operate Europe’s first commercial constellation which offers both full-color video and imagery.
OGSystems’ BlueGlass platform models the world through the combination of commercial remote sensing, big data, and artificial intelligence, delivering real-time insights through situational awareness, anomaly alerting, and reporting of activities that could pose risk to user operations.
“Working closely with OGSystems is validation of our belief that the real value in high resolution satellite imagery is in the truly actionable insights that can be derived from it”, commented Richard Blain, CEO of Earth-i. “BlueGlass is an exceptional intelligence and analytics platform and we are excited about the potential for our business today, and for our planned constellation which will bring full colour video to BlueGlass customers.”
Both companies will exhibit these capabilities during the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation’s (USGIF) 2017 GEOINT Symposium taking place June 4-7 in San Antonio, TX. Visit OGSystems in booth 525 and Earth-i in booth 1528.
