May 17, 2017 – Bay Area manufacturers that attend next week’s Northern California Design-2-Part Show will be treated to the 31st annual event held by Design-2-Part in Santa Clara. The show will be held May 24 & 25 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.

Design-2-Part Shows, America’s premier design and contract manufacturing tradeshows, provide manufacturing engineers and purchasing personnel the opportunity to meet job shops and contract manufacturers face-to-face to source custom parts, components, services, and design. Exhibiting companies will be showcasing their design-through-manufacturing services featuring more than 300 product categories for the metal, plastics, rubber and electronics industries.

This year’s show will feature nearly 200 exhibiting companies and with over 60 new vendors from last year, even previous attendees will find a multitude of new supplier opportunities.

“There is a lot of excitement building up for this show,” said Jerry Schmidt, President of Design-2-Part Shows. “We are encouraged by the potential record attendance that our shows are on track to set for the year. We have held four shows so far in 2017 and show attendance has increased over last year. The attendance numbers and the buzz on the show floors seem to indicate that U.S. manufacturing is in a growth spurt.” D2P Shows exclusively feature exhibiting job shops and contract manufacturers with manufacturing operations in the United States. Companies that do not have facilities in the U.S. are not permitted to exhibit.

Show attendees will also be able to attend a co-located conference on May 25. The Silicon Valley Chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) will present a one-day innovative conference for engineers, “21st Century Manufacturing - Advanced Technology Trends in Silicon Valley.” For more information and to register, please visit SME Silicon Valley.
