The newest version of CrateDB features clustering upgrades and a number of SQL improvements, along with Enterprise Edition features including authentication and authorization for enhanced security, new performance monitoring tools and support for user-defined query functions to enable more advanced in-database analytics.

CrateDB, which was made generally available in December 2016, has been downloaded more than 1.3 million times.
