The Plessey Orion PLWS3000 series module represented a size and performance breakthrough for LED lighting modules giving architectural and industrial lighting designers a new level of design freedom. By integrating the LED and optics into a tiny module, the Orion module delivers over 3000 lumens from a unit just 5.6mm thick and 82mm in diameter. The Orion module uses Plessey’s Stellar™ beam forming technology to achieve a powerful and highly directional beam from such a slim module. Key features include improved light uniformity and excellent thermal performance.

Plessey released the ORION during the LED Professional Symposium in Bregenz, Austria in September 2016. They unveiled additions to the Orion LED module family at the LuxLive in London exhibition in November 2016.
