Elysium Launches Elysium Germany with a Mission to Meet Customer Demands for Local Representation

HAMAMATSU, Japan—Jan. 6, 2017—Elysium, a global leading interoperability solution provider, announces the launch of a new business unit of Elysium Europe SARL, Paris, France, Elysium Europe German Branch office, on Jan. 1, 2017 to target German customer satisfaction.

Elysium established its global presence in 2000 via Elysium Inc. (California, USA) and subsequently opened its first European office in 2004 via Elysium Europe S.A.R.L. (Paris, France). After years of growth through both direct sales and collaboration with its authorized partners, Elysium’s cutting-edge technology is now extensively used by manufacturers worldwide to support increased productivity, reductions in lead time and greater supply chain integration. In 2014 Daimler selected Elysium’s solution for their CAD data migration project and authorized Elysium’s CATIA V5 to/from JT DirectTranslator as a Certified Data Exchange Tool within their supply chain. This designation elevated Elysium’s profile and resulted in increased engagements in Germany. Elysium was then selected as an Official Supplier for Daimler’s PLM2015, the multiyear migration project which placed Elysium technology companywide for workstation-level “File Open1” to migration-level “CMM2.”

As a key market for global manufacturing, Germany has been aggressively promoting the concept of Industrie 4.0. “The goal of our new business unit is to better support both new and existing customers across Europe, emphasizing Elysium’s speed and reliability of interoperability solutions. It is a valiant challenge for us to develop solutions reflecting requirements and voices from German customers,” states Kensuke Tashiro, Managing Director of Elysium Europe S.A.R.L. “I am delighted to appoint Mr. Alexander Christ, M.Sc., a current Ph.D. candidate at Technische Universität Darmstadt, as our first employee to directly represent Elysium in Germany. With Mr. Christ’s experience in mechanical engineering, his expertise in Industrie 4.0 technologies, and with his tie to Technische Universität Darmstadt, Elysium will continue its dominance within the interoperability market.”
