Digital Map Products Announces Enhancements to SaaS Products With Fall 2016 Release

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - October 26, 2016) - Digital Map Products (DMP), a leading provider of location technology and data solutions, today announced the Fall 2016 release for its LandVision™ applications. The release includes improved performance, UI enhancements and Integrated Esri Feature Layers capability.

Better Performance and Speed with Streaming Features Layers (SFL)

Users will now experience faster and more responsive navigation with new Streaming Feature Layers resulting in increased productivity when researching and analyzing location information. SFL deploys an integrated set of new map display techniques delivering modern "vector tiling" performance levels.

More Discoverability with Upgraded, Configurable User Interface

New features such as Tooltips and the Panel and Cards User Interface improve usability by optimizing workflows for the end users. Tooltips deliver rapid access to feature information and enhances research productivity. The new Panel and Cards UI improves how information is presented, explored, and consumed by users. Reinforcing the extensible and configurable advantages of LandVision, customers will also have the ability to use new Card Designer to modify the out-of-the box information Cards and establish specifically what information their teams need to consume in order to make organization decisions and determinations.

Integrated Esri Feature Layers

Companies and organizations maintaining important proprietary data on Esri servers, whether on-premise or in-cloud, will now have the ability to integrate the data on those servers into their LandVision subscriptions. The new feature will enable customers to streamline their data integration process, remain in sync with changes to this data, while also maintaining confidentiality and privacy of these organizational datasets. The Integrated Esri Feature Layers is an add-on component for LandVision accounts.
