--(Marketwired - September 27, 2016) - The US Forest Service Region 4 - Intermountain Region (Nevada, Utah, Southern Idaho & Western Wyoming) has a requirement for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract.
This will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (Task Order) contract for routine, recurring, or emergency Geospatial services that will be used throughout the Forest Service to analyze, monitor, document, and report on a variety geographically related initiatives.
Enterprise and other datasets are vital to providing input for geospatial analysis. Reports in the forms of charts, graphs, and dashboards will provide vital information for Forest Service Leadership.
Types of projects contemplated under this contract may include geospatial analysis, mapping, assessment, and monitoring, geospatial data management, spatial database administration, web hosting administration, geospatial web and mobile application and tool development, cartographic services and products, graphic user interface design, geospatial training development/instruction, and project management and reporting.
The solicitation is advertised as a Competitive 8(a) Set-Aside using best value source selection procedures. The estimated contract period of performance will be December 30, 2016 through December 31, 2017. This will be an IDIQ Contract for one base year with the option for four additional years with a total combined ceiling of $25,000,000 for all awards (combined ceiling total to include base and option years for all awards).
The U.S. Forest Service anticipates awarding a Labor Hour IDIQ contract(s) that will result in the issuance of firm fixed price Task Orders. Task Orders may be issued by any Forest Service Office throughout the nation. It is anticipated that multiple awards will be made under this solicitation.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. The corresponding size standard is $15.0M in average, annual receipts over the past three years.
Bid proposals are due by October 27, 2016.
