The new solution, with smart configuration, helps engineers select the correct product much faster than previously possible. With all of the available options available at their fingertips it becomes extremely easy to spec Emerson EPG products into a design.

Emerson Electric Power Generation (EPG) are best known for their world renowned alternator brands LEROY-SOMER and KATO™. As global leaders in the engineering and manufacturing of alternators, they provide solutions in the 5kW – 25MW range for all types of applications.

The digital product catalog is major component of the Emerson EPG initiative to improve their customer experience. Formerly, engineers would contact Emerson EPG engineering team by phone or email to request digital models for their designs. The process typically took a days and Emerson EPG could only provide files in a few formats.  Now, the process is simple and intuitive, engineers have on-demand access to digital models of Emerson EPG. Users simply log-on to the product configuration tool to design product they need. Once configured they can download in more than 150 native and neutral formats.
