Nashua, NH, Jul 18, 2016 – RAPID, one of the largest prototype manufacturers in North America will have its professional racing debut at the Loudon speedway on Sunday, July 17th. RAPID has previously sponsored the Boston University Racing team as well as MIT Motorsports. The RAPID logo will appear on the HAAS 41 at the New Hampshire 301 in Loudon, NH.
RAPID has been manufacturing prototype sheet metal and prototype machined parts for the automotive industry since its inception in 2001. The move from manufacturing parts hidden on the inside of race cars, to having a logo featured on the outside is an exciting opportunity.
Jay Jacobs, RAPID’s CEO, states, “Being at the race and seeing the car drive by with our logo will be exciting. Even more exciting will be when people recognize our brand and logo as a local manufacturer in their community. I am honored for this opportunity and am looking forward to cheering on HAAS 41!”
The Stewart - HAAS Racing Team was founded in 2003. The latest racecar #41 is driven by Kurt Busch, a second-generation racing driver. Busch will be the driver this weekend at the 2016 Cup Series.
HAAS has been a vendor of Rapid Machining since the company was founded. After Rapid Machining outgrew two facilities in a four year timespan the company moved to a 55,000 square foot facility in Nashua, NH. Rapid Machining focuses on quick-turned prototype machined parts.
