EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – June 20, 2016 – The agenda has been set and registrationopened for the Japan leg of the AWR Design Forum 2016 (ADF2016), which showcases the latest features in NI AWR Design Environment™, including load pull, antenna design and third-party integration flows, as well as AntSyn™, a new cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) antenna synthesis and optimization solution. ADF Japan is being held Friday, July 8 in Tokyo from 10:00 to 17:30.
Of special interest is the keynote speaker, Dr. Yasuko Kasai of Terahertz Technology Research Center, National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), who will discuss the challenge of deep space exploration using terahertz-wave remote sensing. This project has been selected as a part of the equipment for the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) first stage program by the European Space Agency (ESA).
The event technical presentations include:
- Design Examples for Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Low-Noise Power Amplifiers (PAs) Using Microwave Office
- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Analysis Utilizing Microwave Office and AXIEM - Cases of Noise Improvement for Diatone Products
- Efficient RF Module Design Using NI AWR Design Environment
- 5G: The Race Is On!
- Introduction and Effective Use of New Load-Pull Analysis Capabilities
Lastly ADF Japan also boasts a partner exhibition area that includes Amtex, Anritsu, Hagiwara Electrics, IMC, Murata Manufacturing, National Instruments Japan, Rohde & Schwarz Japan and Zuken.
