Application Example Explores Designing an Ultra-Wideband Antenna Using AntSyn Technology

SAN FRANCISCO, International Microwave Symposium – May 23, 2016

May 23, 2016 -- A new application example, “Using AntSyn Technology to Design an Ultra-Wideband Antenna,” describes how an NI AWR software user designed a novel ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna using the new AntSyn™ antenna synthesis and optimization technology coupled with electromagnetic (EM) verification using AXIEM 3D planar EM simulator. AntSyn enabled human judgment to be a factor in the antenna design selection by providing many different solutions and insight with little effort. Additionally, links to AXIEM further extended the design capabilities for this example and assured optimum results.
