Event Connects Electric, Gas, and Telecommunications GIS Professionals
Redlands, California, March 17, 2016 — Esri GeoConX will be held October 17–20, 2016, at the Point Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. GeoConX links the two largest conferences tailored to telecommunications, electric, and gas utility GIS professionals.
"GeoConX offers Esri's Electric and Gas User Group [EGUG] and Telecommunications User Group [TelUG] an opportunity to network with a larger community," said Bill Meehan, director of electric utility solutions at Esri. "We're thrilled to showcase how organizations across industries are improving operations and decision making with GIS."
Conference attractions—including technical workshops, user presentations, hands-on instruction, and dozens of new solutions from Esri partners on display—will address critical trends and topics facing these industries.
"Industry experts and Esri professionals will demonstrate the power of GIS for helping electric, gas, and telecommunications utilities adapt to twenty-first-century challenges and improve their return on investment," said Randy Frantz, director of telecommunications solutions at Esri.
Attendees will include GIS users, IT professionals, engineers, operations managers, and executives. For more information on GeoConX and to sign up to be notified when registration opens, visit esri.com/GeoConX.
