FORT WORTH, TX (29 February 2016) — Pointwise, Inc. is accepting abstracts for technical presentations to be given at the Pointwise User Group Meeting on 21-22 September 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. The event, which brings together engineers and scientists from around the world, will feature the soon to be released Pointwise V18.
Presentations will be 30 minutes long, including the time for questions and answers. No formal written paper is required. A copy of the presentation materials is sufficient. Presentations at previous events have included unique applications of Pointwise, advanced scripting for Pointwise automation and meshing research incorporating Pointwise.
Brief abstracts (500 words or less) must be submitted by 1 July and should describe computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or similar computational work for which Pointwise was used for meshing. The presentation should include tips, tricks, techniques and best practices used when generating meshes. Abstracts may be submitted in plain text or Microsoft Word and should be emailed to Email Contact. If images are included in the abstract, high-resolution image files need to be sent to us separately. Submissions should include the sender’s contact information.
