Burlington, MA, Feb 25, 2016 – SoftInWay Inc. has announced that in the last quarter, 13 thirteen additional schools have incorporated AxSTREAMTM EDU into their turbomachinery curriculum. Applications range from Turbocharger design for Automotive program, to Aerospace propulsion and Power Generation and others.

In addition to traditional course work, some schools, like INSA-Rouen for example, will also be using Axial Turbine and Centrifugal Compressor versions of ASTREAMTM to design and analyze a helicopter engine in collaboration with Turbomeca. In addition to seamlessly being able to integrate AxSTREAMTM turbomachinery platform into the curriculum (as well as any engineering process), participating Universities are also able leverage other resources developed specifically for students, including self-paced online courses at SoftInWay Turbomachinery University, and participating in industry and topic specific webinars and workshops, ranging from advances in SCO2 Cycle development to optimization of Gas Turbines.
