Families with young children are undoubtedly familiar with the Disney franchise, Frozen. WorldQuest Travel Club highlights the fact that in 2016 a brand new ride based on Frozen will debut at the Walt Disney World theme park EPCOT. The old Maelstrom ride is in the final stages of its transformation into the Frozen ride and will have families on a river log ride that travels through the scenes and songs right out of the movie.
On the other hand, WorldQuest Travel Club knows that children, of all ages, are all talking about Star Wars. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, guests have the unique experience of being able to hop aboard a space ship and fly through the planets of Star Wars on the popular Star Tours simulation ride. Also at the park is the Star Wars Launch Bay, an exhibit dedicated to Star Wars, particularly the newest movie of the franchise, The Force Awakens. Beginning in 2016 guests will be able to meet the sinister Kylo Ren, the evil antagonist of The Force Awakens, at the Star Wars Launch Bay.
Outside of the parks is Disney Springs, an outdoor shopping center that WorldQuest Travel Club points out is completely free for travelers to visit. Parking and entry to Disney Springs is absolutely free, and the sprawling shopping center makes for a great afternoon destination for travelers uninterested in the theme parks but still looking to check out some great, quality shopping options. Disney Springs was once known as Downtown Disney, and in 2016 the transformation will be complete. Disney Springs is home to a movie theater, bowling alley, a House of Blues venue, the spectacular Cirque du Soleil show La Nouba, and dozens of stores ranging from the Ghirardelli chocolate shop to World of Disney, a massive store dedicated to all things Disney.
