EXTON, Pa., U.S.A. – February 5,2016– Bentley Systems, Incorporated, announces Bentley’s InspectTech is a comprehensive software solution for inspection, maintenance, and management of transportation infrastructure assets and provides users universal access to asset data from the field, on the road, or in the office.
The next product release of InspectTech, version 7.5, will include new features that incorporate best practices and address U.S. federal requirements in an off-the-shelf offering for transit agencies. Key capabilities include:
- Supports National Bridge Inventory and National Tunnel Inventory regulatory changes which require owners to establish an inspection program, report inspection findings to FHWA, and correct any critical findings.
- Configuration tools will be enhanced for ease of use, allowing users to configure the system to meet their specific business needs.
- The release also offers expanded Integration with AASHTOWare Bridge Management (BrM).

About one-third of the U.S. State DOTs (16) now utilize InspectTech which accounts for more than 258,000 of the United States' approximately 607,000 bridges (42.5 percent). In 2015, InspectTech's mobile app, InspectTech Collector, gained in popularity for its ability to enable quick and effective collection of transportation infrastructure asset information and inspections in the field.
