OPEN MIND is developing a replica Vince Lombardi Trophy to be shown on a Hermle C400U 5-axis milling machine.  The objective of this demonstration is to show a variety of generalized machining approaches, and high quality surface finishes.  hyperMILL also provide specialized strategies for niche markets such as impellers, single-blades, cylinder heads and tire moulds.

The new MAXX Machining performance package in hyperMILL provides high material removal rate and increased cutter life over a set of strategies that cover MAXX Machining Drilling with 5-axis helical motion, MAXX Machining Roughing based on Celeritive’s Volumill™ tool path kit, and MAXX Machining Finishing which utilizes conical barrel cutters and enables large step-over and high surface finish on large planar surfaces.

Visitors will be able to meet with OPEN MIND staff and view software demonstrations and discuss their requirements.
