Mukesh Bhatt, renowned film director who was present at the occasion, said, "We must plan a film council under the umbrella of the government of India where all film related discussions can take place and the biggest film industry can be promoted to the best."
"Film festivals are the best source of national and international integration. We are promoting love, peace and unity through cinema and GFFN has been successful in its purpose," said Sandeep Marwah, President of GFFN, while welcoming the guests.
"We have one religion and that is entertainment. Indian film industry is popular all over the world for its song, drama and music," added Mugdha Godse, renowned actress and former Miss India, while addressing the media during the event.
"We are always impressed by the size and involvement of Indians with film business. We salute the entertainment industry," said H.E. Milan Hovorka, Ambassador of Czech Republic to India, while inaugurating the event.
"What a pleasure to be part of this most energetic and enthusiastic film festival of the country, where anyone will get charged. I am happy that festival has grown so big," said Ketan Mehta, renowned film director.
"Marwah Studio has generated new energy in North of India; their deep participation in cinema activities has changed the color of North film industry," said H.E. Demetrios A. Theophylactou, High Commissioner, Cyprus High Commission, who was a part of the inaugural ceremony and the Chief Guest at the award ceremony on 19th November, 2015.
"I am back home; this is my Alma Mater. We have learned a lot from this institution. No film school in the world has ever designed such a huge film event for their students. We are lucky," said Donal Bisht, former student of ASMS and a renowned actress.
The festival comprised of 52 events inclusive of workshops, master classes, seminars, interactions, and entertainment program, fashion shows and award function. The screenings had been divided into 9 segments of foreign Cinema, Retrospective of Manmohan Desai, and Indian Contemporary Cinema, Romania Focus Country, AAFT Films, ASMS Films, films on Disability, Children section and Competition films.
Film lovers and film professionals and delegates from more than 30 countries had registered for the festival. GFFN is the biggest festival from this side of the world.
